Weather in United Arab Emirates
The seven United Arab Emirates are situated along the eastern Persian Gulf coast of the Arabian Peninsula. The climate is hot and dry. Rainfall only averages 75 - 100mm annually and the summer heat may rise to 46c degrees in some places. The average January temperature is 18c degrees while in July the temperature reaches 33c degrees. In early summer and midwinter winds snow as the shamal blow from the north and northwest bearing much dust and sand. Summer conditions on the coast are unpleasant where humidity is high.
CLOTHING: light to tropical weight throughout the year. Warm attire for winter evenings and desert nights. Suits suggested for formal occasions. Modest attire especially for women.
