Weather in Oman
Oman occupies the southeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It is a hot and arid country with high humidity on the coasts. Annual rainfall is between 50 - 100mm falling mainly in the winter months of December to February. The mountains in the dhofar region in the southwest have a temperate climate with violent thunderstorms and even snow between December and march.
CLOTHING: lightweight clothing throughout the year. Winter evenings and desert nights may require warmer attire. Modesty of dress is recommended especially for women.
