Weather in Jordan
Jordan is a very sunny country. Sunshine ranges from six to seven hours a day during the winter and up to thirteen hours in the summer. The heat in the desert is tempered by a sharp daytime breeze, with cool and pleasant evenings. Rainfall occurs in winter and spring, usually in heavy spells. The Jordan valley below sea level experiences mild winters and particularly hot summers, with very little rainfall. The hottest months of the year are from June to September, coldest months are December to February as are the wettest months.
CLOTHING: during the winter medium weight clothing with an overcoat and a raincoat or umbrella. Light weight clothing with a sweater for the evenings.
