Weather in Malaysia
This equatorial climate is hot and humid, greatly influenced by the monsoons. Malaysia has no distinct seasons. Along the coast temperatures vary little throughout the year, ranging from 21 to 32 degrees. The hill resorts tend to be cooler. November to February is the rainy season on the east coast of Malaysia and some flooding may occur. Annual rainfall averages between 2000 and 2500mm. Humidity is extremely high during the rainy season.
CLOTHING: light to tropicals with light rainwear all year. Warmer clothes are more suitable in the upland regions.
