Weather in Indonesia
Indonesia has an equatorial tropical climate which is warm and humid tempered by the trade winds. The hill climate resorts have the reputation of being cooler than coastal areas. Climatic conditions differ greatly from region to region, but on the whole there are two marked seasons. The dry season which commences in may and continues through to September with warm, dry weather. The second season is the monsoon season and is from October to April with short showers heaviest in December. October and April are the most unpleasant months because of the irregular rainfalls due to the change of seasons.
CLOTHING: light weight clothing for example cotton may be worn throughout the year. In the hill resorts you may find you need a jacket or a pullover.
