Weather in Panama
The Central American country of panama has a tropical, rainy climate, with warm days and cool nights throughout the year. The average annual temperature on both coasts is about 27c degrees and ranges from 10 to 19c degrees in the mountains. The wettest season is from May to December. Humidity is high. Rainfall averages more than 2,972mm a year on the Caribbean coast and 1600mm on the pacific coast.
CLOTHING: lightweight and shower proofs year-round. Shorts are not worn in towns. Wide brimmed hat and sunglasses recommended. Warmer clothing for the higher elevations inland.
