Weather in Guatemala
Guatemala enjoys an average of 20 degrees throughout the year. In coastal regions it may reach as high as 37 degrees, while in the mountains it drops to freezing. The rainy season runs from May to October and is characterized by clear skies before and after afternoon or evening showers. Generally nights tend to be cool all year round.
CLOTHING: during the summer months of March to may light weight clothing would be most comfortable as it becomes very hot in the afternoons. November through to February may be quite cold and a pullover is recommended for the evenings. As mentioned above the rainy season runs through five months so it would be advisable to bring a raincoat.
