Weather in Uganda
Although Uganda lies on the equator, its climate is warm rather than hot and temperatures vary little throughout the year. Average temperatures range from 21c - 24c degrees except in the southwestern part, where they range between 16c - 18c degrees. Mountain areas are cool with snowcapped peaks. Uganda has two rainy seasons between march and may and October to November. There is a pronounced dry season in the Lake Victoria region in June and July.
CLOTHING: tropical, lightweight attire year-round. Rainwear for rainy seasons. Warm wrap recommended for cooler evenings.
