Weather in Sudan
Climate in the Sudan ranges from a tropical continental type in the northern desert region to equatorial in the south. Average summer, April to June, temperatures vary from 32c degrees in the south to 37c degrees in the central part. The winter temperatures from January to February range from 17c in the north to 29c degrees in the interior. Annual rainfall varies from almost nothing in the north to more than 1465mm in the south where the wet season with high humidity lasts from April to November. Dust storms called "habubs" occur in the north due to occasional summer rains.
CLOTHING: light weight clothing throughout the year. Warm apparel recommended for cool nights in the desert.
