Weather in Morocco
Morocco's climate varies according to altitude and location. Coastal areas experience a Mediterranean climate tempered by winds from the south west. Summers tend to be humid and warm, whereas winters are mild and wet. In southern and eastern regions, it may be hot and dry with little rainfall. In the alpine regions the summers are warm and dry, with winters being extremely cold. Snow is not unusual at high altitude. Average temperatures range from 28-35 degrees in the summer and from 13-18 degrees in the winter.
CLOTHING: during the summer season light weight, easy-to-wash cotton or linens are recommended. Warmer clothing may be necessary for the colder evenings or higher altitude. In the winter you are advised to take light to medium weight clothing with an overcoat. Rainwear may useful all year round.
