Arik Air currently operates a fleet of 26 state-of-the art regional, medium haul and long haul aircraft. The average age of aircraft in the fleet is under two (2) years of age.
Arik Air serves 29 airports across Nigeria plus Accra (Ghana), Cotonou (Benin), Freetown (Sierra Leone), Banjul (Gambia), Dakar (Senegal), Monrovia (Liberia), Johannesburg (SA), New York (US) and London Heathrow (UK).
Arik Air operates a combined number of over 150 daily flights from its hubs in Lagos and Abuja.
Arik Air International, the international division of the company, was established in London in 2007, to develop the airline’s inter-continental and long-haul capability.
Arik Air launched its first long-haul route to London, Heathrow in December 2008.
Three further long-haul routes have followed: between Lagos & Johannesburg (Jun09), Abuja & London (Nov09) and Lagos & New York JFK (Nov09).
The airline employs a workforce of over 2,100.
